The 71,000-square-foot Wise Campus Center is the hub of campus activity. Completed in 2007, its construction incorporated Harmon Hall, the original student union built half a century earlier by then-NU president, General Ernest N. Harmon, Class of 1916. The facility is home to a bookstore, mailroom, snack bar, mess hall, lounges, and meeting rooms, and boasts modern amenities such as cafeteria-style dining, a separate dining room for rooks, multiple fireplaces, and a pub for the over-21 crowd. With a price tag of $25 million, the building is named for Clifford and Regina Wise, beloved aunt and uncle of Trustee Emeritus Bob Mack ’64.
