About this EventAdd to calendar
Day 8 of Rook Orientation Week culminates in the traditional running of the Dog River by platoons of rooks with their unit leaders. During the run, rooks select their 'Dog River rock' as a memento of the event, an artifact that typically remains in their possession throughout their entire four year Corps experience.
And, as is also tradition, the university president, the commandant of cadets, and the regimental commander lead the charge through the worm pits and the river, setting the example for the following rook units.
