The Center for Civic Engagement has partnered with Community Collaborations International to host TWO Alternative Spring Break Programs this year! One group will travel to Puerto Rico and the other group to the Gulf Coast. Each group will accept up to 8 participants! Any student can apply regardless of major, class year, or lifestyle. 
 

• Trip 1: Puerto Rico - Students will travel to Puerto Rico to aid in relief efforts from the hurricanes this past year. In addition, students will also help with various conservation projects throughout the week.

• Trip 2: Gulf Coast - Students will be aiding with disaster relief caused by the recent hurricanes. Working along the Gulf Coast, students will also support community organizations, such as food banks and after school programs.

Program Fee: The cost of each trip is $500 per person. If accepted, $250 is due to secure your spot, and the additional cost of $250 will be expected to be fundraised. This covers all housing, food, travel and program expenses. Participants are encouraged and responsible for bringing spending cash for personal expenses.
